Swordsmanship Learning Links
The School of European Swordsmanship In our humble opinion, the best sword school with the best instructor and the most devoted, disciplined and helpfull bunch of students one could ever hope to find. This is where we learn and Guy Windsor continues to be our teachor and mentor even today. If you're serious about the study of swords, get your butt to Helsinki ASAP!!! You won't regret it.
The Lost Exiles This is what I love about the WMA community, it's full of wonderfully talented people who devote much time and effort in spreading the love and the Exiles are a shining light in that regard. Go here for a great breakdown, in English, of Fiores Daga and Abrazare from the Getty manuscript.
Stoccata Scool of Defence If you're down under and have a hankerin' to learn a bit of HES with a slant towards English sources, then look no further. THey have schools in Sydney and Hobart and are a great bunch of people.
Aspiring Swordsman This is the weblog of our great friend and mentor Ilkka Hartikainen. You'll have to go a long way to find a more dedicated and talented martial artist. Check out his page for lots of great tips and techniques.

Local and Regional Links
Caesar's Emporium Singapore supplier of reknowned Cold Steel swords and Practical Hanwei items among other things. Buy locally and save the hassle. Show your PHEMAS membership card for the best deals. This is a highly recommended supplier.
Australian Swordplay Forums A meeting place for all swordsmen and women from Australia and New Zealand.
Zfencing Singapore Zfencing are the local sport fencing gurus. They have many classes and courses in sport fencing but what we like most about them is that they are local suppliers for Uhlmann fencing equipment. Give Nora a call and go down and fit yourself with a 1600N fencing mask. YOu can also get good quality padded fencing gloves here.
Black Hydra Armouries Black Hydra are based in Bangkok and specialise mostly in Japanese and other Asian armour styles although he does have some SCA grade European armour. Talk to Michael directly if you want something special.

Recommended Equipment Suppliers
Therion Arms Therion's service is good and merchandise is of well known brands and are well priced.
Atrim ASA A good place to buy Angus Trim swords. ASA also do upgrades to the hilts and scabbards. High quality blades that, in the long run, are worth the wait.
Pavel Moc Fantastic longswords. They have great balance for the price and are perfect for training if you can get hold of one.
Albion Swords Good range of swords for a fair price. Keep an eye on their Maestro line for practice weapons. Yu can occasionally grab some good deals in their moat sale but it's caveat emptor there as the stuff is dirt cheap and 'as is'. So far, they hold the record for the fastest and most efficient service to Singapore of any of our suppliers.
Purpleheart Armoury Hands down, absolutely great wooden wasters. We'd recommend purpleheart product anytime. Christian and Natasha give such prompt and personal service for their quality wares that the only reason they are number two on the efficiency list, is that their stuff comes all the way from Texas. We certainly can't fault them for that. PHEMAS will put in orders with Purpleheart from time to time so interested members should consult other society members before they order to see if we can all save some postage.
Darkwood Armory Exceptional rapiers and sideswords. I haven't tried their longswords but I believe they are good enough for training. I recently purchased a 2 ring economy hilt rapier from here and am very happy. Their all leather gloves are a bargain as well. Fantastic for rapier or to sew into your gauntlets.
The Mercenary's Tailor If you're looking for armour, Talk to Allan. He's one of the nicest guys around and has helped me a lot. Mercenaries Tailor own a range of historic pieces and use them as templates for their reproduction items. Definitely worth a look.

Armour and Costume Links
Armour Archive It's got an SCA leaning but it's still the number one place for information on building and maintaining your armour. Be sure to check out some of the fascintating articles. There's also armour patterns galore!
Renboots Historical Footwear. Greg is very happy with the new boots he bought from here.
