Recommended Equipment Suppliers
| Therion Arms |
Therion's service is good and merchandise is of well known brands and are well priced. |
| Atrim ASA |
A good place to buy Angus Trim swords. ASA also do upgrades to the hilts and scabbards. High quality blades that, in the long run, are worth the wait. |
| Pavel Moc |
Fantastic longswords. They have great balance for the price and are perfect for training if you can get hold of one. |
| Albion Swords |
Good range of swords for a fair price. Keep an eye on their Maestro line for practice weapons. Yu can occasionally grab some good deals in their moat sale but it's caveat emptor there as the stuff is dirt cheap and 'as is'. So far, they hold the record for the fastest and most efficient service to Singapore of any of our suppliers. |
| Purpleheart Armoury |
Hands down, absolutely great wooden wasters. We'd recommend purpleheart product anytime. Christian and Natasha give such prompt and personal service for their quality wares that the only reason they are number two on the efficiency list, is that their stuff comes all the way from Texas. We certainly can't fault them for that. PHEMAS will put in orders with Purpleheart from time to time so interested members should consult other society members before they order to see if we can all save some postage. |
| Darkwood Armory |
Exceptional rapiers and sideswords. I haven't tried their longswords but I believe they are good enough for training. I recently purchased a 2 ring economy hilt rapier from here and am very happy. Their all leather gloves are a bargain as well. Fantastic for rapier or to sew into your gauntlets. |
| The Mercenary's Tailor |
If you're looking for armour, Talk to Allan. He's one of the nicest guys around and has helped me a lot. Mercenaries Tailor own a range of historic pieces and use them as templates for their reproduction items. Definitely worth a look. |
